Breast augmentation, along with liposuction, is one of the most common procedures done by plastic surgreons. Patients ask for this procedure because they are seeking larger, shapelier breasts.  In this blog I will address questions as saline or silicone implants and varying techniques of the procedure. A common question I get in my Dallas office from patients is "Do I need Liposuction or Abdominoplasty?"

I always answer that question by telling them during their consultation that neither you nor anyone else needs any of this. However, if you are bothered by the way you look and you would like to do something about it to make you feel better about yourself then you may consider either of these procedures or both of them.

In this blog I will discuss both of these procedures. It is important to point out that neither of the two procedures should be done in people that are extremely overweight because the main problem is being overweight and these procedures do not address that problem. You can still get a good result if you are some overweight but the best results are achieved if your weight is closest to ideal.
