Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
The eyes have been noted for their ability to reveal people's thoughts and emotions. Unfortunately, under eye circles, puffiness, and bags around the eyes can portray negative emotions, such as anger, sadness, exhaustion, or frustration, even when you are feeling fine. Upper Eyelid Surgery
Upper eyelid surgery can be performed to remove excess skin and reduce puffiness above the eye. It can also adjust skin to improve the appearance of the upper eyelid crease.
Lower Eyelid Surgery

Chemical Peel Treatment
Dr. Antonetti offers his patients chemical peel treatments to rejuvenate their skin for a more radiant appearance. This procedure is used to make the skin look smoother, healthier, and younger. Chemical peels work by removing the outer layers of skin and revealing the new skin below. This treatment can reduce wrinkles, acne scars and blemishes, and areas of uneven pigmentation.
At our Dallas / Fort Worth area practice, we offer several chemical peel types, including phenol, trichloroacetic acid (TCA), and alphahydroxy acid (AHAs). Which peel you choose depends upon how deep a peel you need and how sensitive your skin is. Dr. Antonetti can help you determine which chemical peel is right for you and your skin.
It may be important to note that chemical peels can be used in conjunction with a facelift at our Dallas / Fort Worth area practice, but should not be used in place of one. Chemical peel treatments are a less involved, outpatient procedure that can improve skin's texture and appearance. It cannot erase lines created by deeper folds of skin or provide the sort of tightening afforded by a facelift. If you are interested primarily in these types of results, you may be happier with a facelift. If you mainly desire better skin texture, then a chemical peel alone may suffice. Combining the procedures gives the benefits of each.

BOTOX® Cosmetic Treatment
Since it received FDA approval for cosmetic use in April of 2002, BOTOX® Cosmetic has become overwhelmingly popular across the country as a treatment for wrinkles, and our Dallas / Fort Worth area practice is no different. BOTOX® Cosmetic, a purified form of botulinium toxin, works by relaxing the muscles surrounding a wrinkle. As a result, the skin softens and the wrinkle fades or disappears. BOTOX® injections can be used to treat forehead wrinkles as well as lines that form around the eyes.
At our Dallas / Fort Worth area practice, our patients have found that BOTOX® treatment is fast and virtually painless. Patients receive a few injections in problem areas and go home shortly thereafter. Most resume their daily activities right away. Wrinkles should begin to fade as soon as 24 hours after treatment.
Although BOTOX® Cosmetic is not permanent — treatment must be repeated every three months in order to maintain results — many people choose it for its convenience and effectiveness. Chin Augmentation

In some cases, a weak chin can place too much emphasis on the nose. Fortunately, this procedure can make the nose look smaller and improve the proportions between the nose and chin. Chin augmentation does not affect a normal dental bite, but it can be performed in conjunction with jaw surgery to correct the bite, if necessary.

Ear Surgery (Otoplasty)
Large or protruding ears can be a cause of great self-consciousness, especially for children and teens. Ear surgery, or otoplasty, is a surgical procedure that can reduce the size of the ears, pinning them closer to the head. Ear surgery can make a dramatic improvement in a person's appearance, easing social tensions and boosting self-esteem.
Ear surgery is most often performed on children over the age of 5. Younger children should postpone having otoplasty until their ears have finished growing. Teenagers and adults can have ear surgery as well.
